This year the 3rd Annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament is being sponsored by Southeastern Regional Medical Center and will be a fabulous event with all proceeds to benefit the Army's Fisher House of Fort Bragg.  The tournament will be held at the beautiful Cypress Lakes Golf Course in Hope Mills, NC.  From the official Fisher House website...

Since 1990 Fisher Houses have been serving military families during times of medical crisis.

These comfort homes are built by the Fisher House Foundation, Inc., and given as gifts to the military Services and the Veteran's Affairs. The Army is the proud recipient of 17 of the 43 existing Fisher Houses. The Fisher House Foundation was established by noted philanthropist and patriot Zachary Fisher and his wife, Elizabeth. Zachary passed away in June 1999, but his nephew Arnold Fisher, and his grand-nephew, Ken Fisher, continue to build Fisher Houses and carry on Zachary's legacy of helping military men and women and their families.

The new Womack Army Medical Center services will include Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Plastic Surgery, Complicated Obstetrics, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Pulmonary, Endocrinology, Thoracic Surgery and Level II Nursery. For additional information please visit their website.

Fisher House Information

Fisher House is located within walking distance of Womack Army Medical Center. The Fisher House has individual smoke free rooms with a full baths. Residents share a common living room, kitchen, dining room and laundry area, some of which are handicapped accessible. Please call the Fisher House Manager for further information.
